What are your opening hours?

We are open 7 days a week.

Monday & Tuesday: 5pm – late

Wednesday to Saturday: 12pm – late

Sunday: 12pm – 10pm

How can I make a booking?

Head to our Make A Booking Page to book a table for up to 16 guests.

For bookings greater than 16 guests, please head to our Groups & Events page to find out more and make an enquiry.

We can currently take bookings for groups of up to 20 people.

Do you accept walk-ins?

We recommend making a bookings to secure a table. If you are in the area and would like to pop in, you will need to check-in upon arrival and we will do our best to accomodate you.

I can’t make it to my booking anymore, what are my options?

If you are unable to make your booking, please contact us via phone 02 9954 4057 or email book@thebotanist.com.au as soon as you know. If you fail to show up, numbers decrease, or you cancel without at least 24 hours notice, you will be charged a no-show fee of $50 per person.

Can I book The Botanist for a private event?

Yes, The Botanist is perfect for large group celebrations and dining experiences. The venue encompasses a worldly mix of tastes and concepts. We are available to hire exclusively for corporate or media events during the week, and are perfect for section bookings throughout the weekend. Do you cater for dietaries?

Yes we can cater for most special dietary requests, such as vegetarian and food allergies, however, some limitations apply. Please view our menu to see our Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegetarian and Vegan options. Let our team know any food allergies or dietary requirements you may have & we will endeavour to accommodate for you the best we can!

Please note that whilst all reasonable efforts are taken to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee that our food will be allergen free. 

Do you have vegan and vegetarian options?

Yes we have vegan and vegetarian options on our menu. These will be marked with a (V) or (VG). Some dishes will also be able to be altered to make them Vegan. Please ask our friendly staff when placing your order.

Do you offer takeaway or delivery?

We currently do not offer takeaway or delivery for our menu.

Do you have highchairs?

No we do not have any highchairs in venue. We do have high banquette seating which would be more suited for younger children.

Do you have wheelchair access?

No we do not have wheelchair access.

Are dogs allowed in the restaurant?

As much as we love all friendly pooches, we do not allow dogs in our restaurant.

How can I buy a gift card?

If you have a birthday, anniversary or engagement present to give, or you’d just like to gift something special to make someone smile – purchase a Botanist online gift voucher and we’ll send it directly via email to the recipient to enjoy. Click here to make a purchase.

How can I provide feedback?

We always want to hear about our guests’ experiences, whether it’s a compliment, a suggestion, or feedback about something we could have done better. If you had a positive experience, then we would really appreciate if you left us a review on Facebook or Tripadvisor. We also place a high value on customer feedback and appreciate your honesty.
