Feast For The Botanist Kirribilli Family

The Botanist Kirribilli will reopen on Monday 13th July with a warming family feast as a tribute to our team.

We are reopening our Kirribilli doors with a twist – a way to give back to our Applejack Hospitality staff members who have done it tough over the past few months.

On opening night, Monday 13th July, we’ll take reservations for guests to enjoy our family banquet feast on-the-house! That’s right, we are paying for the food (excludes drink sales) and all we ask is that you contribute a ‘food tip’ for our team who have done it tough over the past few months. There’s no hidden catch, no clause, you choose what you pay!

As the hospitality industry was forced to shut their doors back in March due to Covid-19, employment rates plummeted and unfortunately, many of our employees were affected and not eligible for government support. In addition to getting our wonderful staff back into the restaurant to create memorable moments, we’re hoping your ‘Food Tips’ will help revive the livelihood of our team so we can continue to deliver exceptional experiences for you.

The Botanist’s ‘Family Feast Tips’ will be part of Applejack’s group-wide ‘Food Sales For Staff’ initiative, with all monetary contributions pooled and shared equally, going directly to all returning Applejack employees that lost their income and weren’t eligible for the government’s JobKeeper Payment scheme.

If you can’t join us on the 13th July, that’s ok! Our full dining menu will be available from Tuesday 14 July. Along with some seasonal tweaks, we’ll have the same great food, cocktails and good times as before! Bookings are now open – we look forward to welcoming you back in soon.
